Dancing through the Decades, a fundraiser, will be hosted by the Oxford City Schools Education Foundation, from 6-8 p.m. on Thurs., Feb. 2. Dancers will be faculty members and/or students from all six Oxford Schools. They will compete for first, second and third places. The money that is raised will be used to support the Foundation’s technology initiative. Participants will perform dances dating back to the 1940s. Attendees may sponsor a dance team by donating $100, and their name(s) will be listed in the program. The deadline for team sponsors is Mon., Jan. 23. At the event, attendees will vote for the school of their choice by paying $1 per vote. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Make checks to OCSEF.
